Activities, Guest Speakers & Workshops

There are a range of activities that vary year to year. Students can expect trips such as Ploughing Championship, Bord Gais, ATU Careers Festival, Ice-Skating, Stripe Young Scientist, iWish Festival, Modern Foreign Language Film Trips. A Two-Day Trip to Colaiste Acla Adventure centre where students immerse themselves in the Irish language while enjoying activities such as surfing, cliff jumping, bog snorkling, kayaking, hill-walking and céilí dancing.

Students also participate in Barista Course, Well-being Talk by Conor Harris, Ice-Skating, First Aid, Introduction to Driving, Forensics, and participating in Workshops in Creative Writing, Apprenticeship Courses.
