The Foróige Big Brother Big Sister Programme is a mentoring initiative involving Transition Year students who buddy up with incoming 1st Year students to support them as they transition from primary to post primary school. TY students provide guidance, encouragement, and friendship throughout the year, helping younger students to settle into school life and feel welcome within the school community. As part of the programme, participating students complete mentoring and leadership training with Foróige and develop valuable communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. The programme promotes positive relationships, confidence, and a strong sense of community within the school.
